Eli Loves Santa

Well I did not know how it would go. We took Eli too see santa, and well it could have went either way. I think if this santa would have had the traditional gut things might have been different.

Eli was the center of attention over Thanks Giving. He was the hit at all the parties. Shown in the photos is some of Eli's favorite activities: Hanging with "Not the Grandpa," Riden 4-wheeler with Uncle Josh, and also attacking the paparazzi. It was a good Thanks Giving for us as a family.

Lewy left the mountain for the winter season. As you can see from the photo, winter is on its way.

Momma's Blog

What a smile! We spent our first Christmas in Billings with the Heil's as Megan recuperated from surgery. Eli is the first grandchild on both sides of our family so he is extra spoiled at holidays!

Our son in his first scotch cap!

This is a cute pic of Eli at 1 week old. He is praying for Momma's milk to come in!

Here is one proud papa! Lewy got to experience all of the "firsts" (First bath and first poopy tar diaper!)

I thought I would start from the beginning so that you can see how much our son has grown. Since October 18, 2007 our lives have changed dramatically (for the better!) Eli Morgan Heil was delivered at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital after 24 hours of induced labor and a C-Section (it's kind of like running a marathon and then finding out that I could have used a golf cart!) He weighed in at 6lbs 4oz and was 18 1/2 inches long and had a head full of dark hair.

Catching up with Lewy

I am just finishing my first season on rebuilding The Going to the Sun Highway in Glacier National Park. Its been an exciting year and I have learned a lot from my crew. It was a great successful year for HK, and I was glad to be a part of it and hope that next year goes as well as this year did.
The project is wrapping up for winter. We should be off the mountain by Thanks Giving.

First Timers

Hopefully this will help you catch up with whats been happening for us. Eli is almost 13 months and is a handfull. He has not starting walking on his own yet, but give him a finger to hold and he will wear you out making laps. Well this was our first time blogging and it was not to bad, so you might see more from us.
